“Mac” (short for Michael Alan Clemmens) is the CEO of Digital
Deployment. He is responsible for the growth of the company, the
formation of a brilliant team, and the construction of a platform
that delivers extraordinary value to clients.
Mac’s passion is empowering institutions, associations, and
non-profits to leverage the web to build measurable and
sustainable business value.
As VP of Client Services, Carsen engages new clients, ensures
thorough scoping of all projects, manages 8-phase projects, and
maintains client relationships.
Carsen brings extraordinary internet, media and marketing
experience to Digital Deployment projects. A seasoned account and
project manager with expertise in marketing and business process
development, Carsen brings a creative, experienced and
disciplined set of skills to each web development project. His
primary focus is exceeding client expectations.
Carsen hails from the south shore of Lake Michigan and graduated
from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Telecommunications. His interests include his family, playing
guitar and jamming with various bands, traveling through the
Sierra Nevada mountains, building backyard bonfires and grilling
with friends.
Sloane Dell’Orto is the Production Manager for Digital
Deployment, ensuring all the pieces come together behind the
scenes: design, CMS deployment, User Interface development, and
search engine optimization. She manages tasks related to
development, quality-checks all components, and handles the
hundreds of support requests that come through each week. Sloane
has a degree in fire science and state certification as an
Emergency Medical Technician. She volunteered as a fire fighter
for 10 years while raising her son, Chris.
Sloane is a self-taught journalist, web developer and graphic
designer. She started with Journalism when she worked for the
newspaper business for many years, then ran political campaigns,
started her own hand-lettered sign business, moved on to
publishing a local Sacramento magazine, then worked as a
marketing manager for a technology company. In 2009 she found her
way to Digital Deployment and is happily enjoying the people and
strong team who make up her work family. She likes the challenge
of the work and the authenticity of the people she works with.
Sloane has saved many lives as a firefighter which is a huge
accomplishment in her life. She also has passed on her wisdom of
firefighting to others, teaching them to save lives as well.
Sloane is currently in the process of raising a son which
presents challenges, but is mostly rewarding. Her top three
favorite hobbies are reading, meditating, and living. “I really
love experiencing this world and all the wonderful people and
things in it.”
Dennis Stevense is the Lead Software Engineer for Digital
Deployment, managing the ongoing development of the web system as
well as adding new elements and improving the existing codebase.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering
from Delft University of Technology as well as an International
Baccalaureate English A2 Higher Level Diploma for near-native
proficiency in English.
Dennis created one of the most popular iPhone apps for the Dutch
market called “Trein.” It allows train commuters to get real-time
delay and disturbance information and has tens of thousands of
users in addition to winning many awards. He grew up and
currently lives in Roosendaal (near the Belgian border) in the
Netherlands, but has been able to travel to other countries
because of his highly developed programming skills. He has been
working on Drupal-based websites since high school and created a
highly functional and intricate website for his high school as a
senior project with a friend. It was complete with timetables,
enrollments, and advanced access control.
When asked what he loves about working with Digital Deployment he
mentioned, “The people and the appreciation I get. Also, I’ve
always wanted to work in a small company, where I can make a real
difference and have a real influence.”
Dennis considers computer programming to be a hobby as well as a
skill because he finds it very satisfying to neatly solve
problems like complex puzzles. He also enjoys photography because
it gives him the ability to capture things he sees in the world
around him and it sits nicely on the border of science and art.
Brent Rector is the co-creator and Art Director of FUEL Creative
Group, responsible for the look and feel (visual and verbal
communication) of all studio projects, making sure they have a
unifying vision. Brent is one of Northern California’s top
graphic designers. His clean, powerful designs are widely
recognized. Brent brings over 15 years of graphic design
experience and specializes in branding, packaging, publications,
environmental design, interactive user interface, and
advertising. He grew up in Sacramento and has a B.A. in
Journalism and Graphic Design. He enjoys either being in the
garage working on his Hot Rods as a great way to unwind. Brent
has been working with Hot Rods for a while and enjoys the
connection to the past, as well as being able to work with the
visually interesting elements and mechanics.
Jason McWhorter is a web developer and themer for Digital
Deployment, applying designs for the websites into a workable
digital reality. He has successfully owned and operated his own
computer contracting service for the past 4 years in order to
have more independence and freedom in his work life. He has
extensive self-taught knowledge of many computer languages such
as PHP, Actionscript, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL, CSS, XML, HTML
and many others.
His favorite part about working with Digital Deployment is the
individuality of each team member and every one’s ability to
provide their own useful talents for the company.
Golfing has always been one of Jason’s favorite hobbies, he
enjoys hanging out with friends, having a beer, and experiencing
the outdoors all while playing a great game. He is an avid
computer architect, building computers from scratch into
beautiful, functional pieces of art.
Haley Corina is a Migration Specialist and Content Coordinator
for Digital Deployment, strategically organizing content and
ensuring it is in the correct format and lives in the right spot.
She also does content quality sweeps for client websites making
sure the content is presented with best practices and is
relevant, current, and useful. Haley graduated from University of
Redlands with a degree in Studio Art with a Graphic Design
emphasis. This is by far her favorite job she’s had so far
because it gives her the opportunity to work with people who are
all passionate about what they do and inspire everyone around
them to be happy, wholesome additions to the community. When
Haley was in high school she started a small business building
handbags out of men’s neckties and donating most of the proceeds
to Women’s Empowerment, an organization that helps homeless women
achieve a better life for themselves and their children. Haley
has been sewing since the beginning of high school and has always
loved being able to create physical and functional pieces.
Steve Worth, the co-creator and Production Director for FUEL
Creative Group, grew up in El Dorado Hills and graduated from CSU
Chico with a B.A. in Communications with an option in Graphic
Design. He manages the production of artwork within FUEL while
ensuring clients needs, schedules and deadlines are met. In
addition to co-starting FUEL Creative Group, Steve and his wife
started a successful dance studio, El Dorado Dance Academy. Both
companies have remained successful through the difficult
financial times, which has been quite an accomplishment. One of
Steve’s hobbies is wood working, allowing him to stretch his
creative muscles and satisfyingly build a completed piece of
furniture. When working with Digital Deployment he says, “It’s
nice to have a partner who values good design and the ability to
shepherd a client through the content development process. Not to
mention the fact that the whole group is just fun to deal with”.
Ben has 15 years of experience in various web technologies,
including Drupal, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP and databases. His
development skills have been honed over the years on large
projects with challenging implementations; one of his core
strengths is his ability to determine the best solution for the
need at hand.
Barbara Hennelly is a Senior Designer at FUEL Creative Group. She
is a translator of messaging and personality by design through
cathode and vector mediums. Barb grew up in Albuquerque, New
Mexico and is thoroughly enjoys Burlesque dancing as well as
photography and soccer. At Santa Clara University, Barb scored
the first goal in the history of the University against
University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, something she is very
proud of! She loves working with Digital Deployment because of
the Good people, they’re fun to work with and they get stuff
done. She has a degree in Print Journalism and knows how to do
pretty much anything (if not, she’ll learn it!).
Haley Titus is a recent graduate of CSU Chico with a B.A. in
Communication Design and an option in Graphic Design. She is
currently a graphic designer for FUEL Creative Group and is
responsible for the conception, layout, structure and production
of the design projects. Working on projects that focus on
identity, print, web, or packaging Haley is fluent in Adobe
InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. In addition to being a
graphic artist, Haley enjoys photography, blogging, and painting.

in Roseville and is an outdoor enthusiast, appreciating riding
her bike or running on trails.
