This new site was built for teachers by the California State
Teachers’ Retirement System to communicate timely information
about pensions, the history of plan funding, the value of their
defined benefits, and the unfunded actuarial liability. Servers
over 862,000 teachers as well as the general public.
Brought multiple site together to have a unified look and feel
using Digital Deployment’s WebWrap™ technology.
Since its launch in 2009, the new California Hospital Association
site celebrates over 30,000 regular visitors, with more than
4,000 of its members having registered on the site and signed up
for personalized updates based on topics they choose. Digital
Deployment provided an enterprise content management system
deployment, website design, consulting, information architecture,
on-site training and consulting.
The UC Davis Graduate School of Management (UCD GSM) needed a
website development firm to strengthen its web presence, to
improve its capacity to easily edit content, and to improve its
ability to communicate with students (prospective and current),
faculty, staff, donors, alumni, and community members.
After attending the TEDx Sacramento
morning salon a couple weeks ago, it’s safe to say we’re
hooked. We heard there was an evening salon coming up and we were
all excited to attend.
The evening salon last night had a very inspiring theme – “From
Struggle to Strength.” We had the opportunity to view three
videos, listen to a fantastic band, and (the best part) watch
LIVE TEDx talks!
Sacramento’s Digital Deployment builds on Drupal CMS, a very
popular and portable open-source content management system.
Drupal is Open Source
According to Drupal.org, Drupal is open source software
maintained and developed by a community of 630,000+ users and
developers. It’s distributed under the terms of the GNU General
Public License (or “GPL”), which means anyone is free to download
it and share it with others.
Krista Noonan, Director of Communications for CalSTRS, delivers
an address to the CalSTRS board regarding the new website for
California’s 862,000 teachers. She reviews many of the site’s
most important features and acknowledges Digital Deployment right
at the end. Thanks, Krista!
